Bottles combine clarity and chemical resistance

Nalgene Nvision packaging bottles are the next generation in packaging technology for pharmaceutical, biotech, and diagnostic products, with a unique combination of clarity and chemical resistance, says manufacturer Nalge Nunc International. They are made from a polypropylene co-polymer that is very clear, to give an unobstructed view of the contents, while having the same chemical resistance as standard Nalgene bottles. The new bottles are available with an HDPE tamper-evident closure system. This features a tear-away ring that stays on the bottle when the cap is removed. Once closed, the bottle cannot be opened without leaving the ring behind. Customers can order bottles with the proven-leakproof Nalgene valve seal, a lined closure, or a lined closure with a foil induction seal, all with the tamper-evident closure. The standard valve seal closure is also available without the tamper-evident feature. NVision bottles are available in 125 ml, 500 ml, 1 l, and 2 l sizes, with tamper-evident closures available for the three smaller sizes. They are available as sterile or non-sterile, with all materials meeting the relevant regulatory standards.
