Toxicological reports for GC/MS

Thermo Electron Corporation has developed a new software package, ToxLab Forms, for toxicological reporting during testing for drugs of abuse, therapeutic drug monitoring, environmental toxicology, and forensic applications. Designed to complement Thermo’s Finnigan GC/MS Series of mass spectrometers, it offers user-friendly, automated reports that provide toxicological, forensic, and clinical laboratories with high productivity and reliability.

ToxLab Forms provides comprehensive, automated reports, including batch summary, calibration, and sample reports. The batch summary report provides information on the internal standards and ion ratios, gives warning and failure messages, and gives room for data review notation. The calibration report gives information on the calibration curve for each component. The sample report gives calculated amount, ion ratio information and warning messages. ToxLab Forms also alerts to any sample not meeting the designated ion ratio criteria. It also provides the reason for failure.
