A better image at every level

Olympus has extended cell, its family of life science imaging systems. The two new members, analySISB and analySISD, provide solutions for straightforward fluorescence applications, image documentation and archiving as well as complex applications such as multidimensional imaging. analysisB is designed for cell biology, and provides image acquisition and archiving as the core component of a complete microscopy system, including a digital camera and microscope. analysisB software provides standard image processing and measuring functions, a database and report generator.

Image series are saved in a multidimensional format and a navigation tool is provided for animating acquisitions. Individual images can be stitched together to create panoramas or images infinite depth of focus. AnalysisD offers a wide variety of applications for integrating Olympus microscopes with complex experiments. These include automated acquisition of multi-fluorescence images, time-lapse series and 3D image stacks as well as scanning microtiter plates via motorized microscope stages. Tools include the SliceViewer, which generates slices through 3-D image stacks perpendicular to the viewing plane, and the VoxelViewer, generating iso-surface representations of 3D objects.
