Better and cheaper image analysis

The AlphaImager Imaging System, the latest product from Alpha Innotech, is a complete and easy-to-use gel documentation and analysis system. The main new feature is a FireWire camera with increased resolution (1024x768 pixels) and dynamic range (10 bit), fitted with a motorized zoom lens. Applications include fluorescence, gel documentation and analysis, film and membrane imaging, culture plates and microplate based assays, and absorbance/visible imaging.

To coincide with the launch of the AlphaImager Imaging System, Alpha Innotech is re-naming its three product families. The entry-level AlphaDigiDoc RT system is followed by the AlphaImager and AlphaImager HP product line. At the top of the range are the company’s FluorChem products (FluorChem, FluorChem SP and FluorChem HD), which offer the very best in sensitivity and resolution for chemiluminescence and fluorescence detection.
