Genomics software now supports 21 CFR part 11

The Enterprise edition of Sequence Detection System (SDS) Software v2.2 from Applied Biosystems is a high-throughput application for storing, organizing and analyzing large amounts of gene expression and genotyping data on the company’s 7900HT real-time PCR system. SDS Software v2.2 Enterprise edition is the only edition of SDS software that supports 21 CFR part 11, providing security, auditing functions, electronic signatures and electronic record-keeping.

The SNP Manager and Relative Quantification (RQ) Manager are optional. v2.2 software packages that eliminate data analysis bottlenecks in high-throughput SNP and gene expression research by allowing significantly more plates to be analyzed simultaneously. This reduces hands-on analysis time and simplifies the data analysis workflow. Two additional features streamline performance in high-throughput laboratories and reduce hands-on time. The Automation Controller automates each run. The Plate Utility automatically creates plate documents and support various file types, including the assay information files (AIFs) provided with TaqMan assays-on-demand products.
