To simplify detector operations

ESA, Inc., has introduced remote control software for its Chromachem Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD) to simplify detector operation and HPLC system integration. The Chromachem ELSD provides universal detection of non-volatile compounds in use with HPLC. The new software features single-point control from an external computer of all detection parameters and programmed methods, as well as manual and automated control of external events and real-time data monitoring.

With the ESA software, users can easily create, store and recall operation methods and collected data files directly on a Windows-based PC. Data plots, parameters and status can all be passed directly to a printer connected to the PC. The Chromachem ELSD is an enhanced version of an established ELSD series from ESA offering a number of additional features, including higher peak resolution, a sophisticated microprocessor, small footprint, RS232 interface, and a larger graphic display with more information.
