EAPB AND GLOBALISATION TASK FORCE

The AAPS has established a globalisation task force to coordinate workshops, symposia and conferences world-wide.There are two sections of the task force, one for developed countries and one for developing countries, the task force being run by the president of AAPS Dr.Vinod Shah.

The task force should interface in a consultive and facilitative mode to develop state-of-art workshops and conferences on cutting edge science and technology with other national and international professional associations (e.g.FIP,CRS, EUFEPS,RPSGB,APhA,JPST,EAPB). EAPB plays an active role and was present at the foundation meeting of the task force at the AAPS annual meeting in Toronto on November 12,2002 and also present at the first follow-up meeting in Washington on January 17,2003. The special interests of EAPB focus on events to be organised in Europe and Russia, additionally in general on pharmaceutical biotechnology events world-wide. Participation in this task forceis afurther stepin intensifying the cooperation with AAPS and additionally showing some world-wide activity in pharma biotech.
